Juniors 100 Camp & Fun Day

This year the Junior Section celebrates its centenary, and this is another great opportunity for us all to come together as a District. In June we are going to be celebrating this significant anniversary by holding a London Camp and Fun Day for Juniors.

40+ Leaders Refresh Training Day

Refresh took place in November at Wesley's Chapel in the City, home of the 5th London Company. It was a fantastic day with over 40 leaders from across London coming together to learn and share together. Leaders were able to take away lots of programme ideas and also go back to Companies refreshed and inspired! Workshops during the day included 'Working with Under 11s/Over 11s', 'Getting into the Bible' and 'Behaviour Management'.

This year the day also incorporated the District Annual General Meeting, where updates were received on activities within the District, the accounts for the year were presented and officials elected.

700+ attend Life 2 the Max 2016

Nearly 700 BB members from across London and beyond came together in June at Felden Lodge for Life 2 the Max, a bi-annual event for members. 2016 saw a change in the programme for the event, with the new programme going down well - through it giving more choice and greater freedom to those attending.

There was a wide range of activities on offer including fun fair rides, inflatables, climbing wall, crafts, sumo suits, archery, mini golf, circus skills, face painting and several shows (falconry, magic and Punch & Judy). Evangelist Adrian Ward entertained with his magic and shared a positive message, with young people from Ampthill Baptist leading worship.

The District would like to say a big thank you to the Planning Team and all those that helped to make the event possible and such a success. Life 2 the Max will be back in 2018, so put the date in your diary now - Saturday 23rd June 2018.
